Alpens

Alpens is located in the Pre-Pyrenees very close to the demarcation of Girona, in Alt Lluçanès, just where the regions of Osona, Ripollès and Berguedà are located. A cosy and privileged environment that invites you to stroll through the streets, appreciate the wrought iron art and enjoy the tranquillity of the village and the landscapes that surround it.

A privileged place

Alpens is a village of Artisans. We have good local products, talented artisans and happy to share their trade and production, cold meat, jams, wrought iron, wood, bread, gastronomy, with La Fonda d’Alpens, the emblematic Casino opened in 1928... All of them willing to make of your stay an unforgettable experience.

You will be able to unwind and find yourself in the middle of the forest, surrounded by pines, oaks and holm oaks, fountains, fields, pastures and animals of all kinds, with wonderful views and abundant fresh air. Make excursions on foot or by bicycle, walk, play sports, enjoy the mushroom season, jump and romp with the children.

Whether on foot or by car, you will surely like to visit Sant Pere de Serrallonga (951), Sant Pau del Colomer (1074), Santa Margarida i els Saguàrdia (12th-13th centuries), Roca de Pena and Els Diables Rocadepena, Roca de la Lluna, Masia del Graell and Capella de Sant Joan (1714), Masia de Torrats (1671) and La Pleta (where the livestock trails leading to the mountain meet), Font de la Llena, Riera de Merlès... and a thousand and one places that will definitely captivate you.
